SOME OF the best racquetball
players in Canada will be in
North Vancouver next week to
compete in the 1993 Capilano
Summex Open Racquetball
Tournament, hosted by the
Capilano Athletic Club.

The tournament runs from
Tuesday, Aug. 10 to Saturday,
Aug. 14,

The top-ranked men's player
in the country, Winnipeg’s
Sherman Greenfeld, plans to
compete, as does Washington’s
Jeff Evers, No. 16 in the most
recent world pro rankings.

Prince George’s Debbie
Ward ranked: ninth in
Canada looks fike the
woman to beai in the pro cate-
gory, but No. 2-ranked pro-
vincial player LauriJane Powell
will also be a force.
