THE Nissan Foundation, through North
Vancouver’s Regency Nissan, donated a 2000
Nissan Quest to Wheels to Meals.

Now the volunteer-driven program is looking for volunteer
drivers.

Wheels to Meals transports senior citizens to central loca-
tions on the North Shore for group meals where they can social-
ize with friends, old and new.

One arm of the program brings seniors together for lunches
at Margaret Fulton Centre or the West Vancouver Adult Day
Centre. Another arm transports seniors to the nearest of seven
congregate care centres between Horseshoe Bay and Deep
Cove.

The program differs from Meals on Wheels, which delivers

meals directly to seniors in their homes.
