Poet chose Diallo’s CD Aduna: The World (released last summer in the States on the Tinder label) as the best album put out in the world music category in 1998. Diallo, originally from Guinea in West Africa, moved to Vancouver in 1991, Adana is a compilation of his three Canadian CDs.
