GETTING the lead
out has proved an
expensive proposition
for a former lead
products operator.

Cascade Lead Products at
Main St. and) Harbour
Avenue in North Vancouver
leased three facilities from
1970 and left behind lead
contamination when the firm
pulled our in 19953,

The B.C. Supreme Court
determined Cascade will have
to pay landlord Progressive
Enterprise Ltd. $35,091.45
for clean-up, consultant’s
fees, rent and other costs
associated with reducing the
lead contamination on the
property.
