offering on MovieMax lives up to Classic billing. The Amityville Horror (1979)
brought to celluloid life many facets from the grand tradition of iterature’s
haunted houses. Based on an alledgedly true,story in which a young family is *
terrorized by their house — which boasts a gateway to the nefarious underworid
— the original has spawned six sequels (let's hope the last, Amityville: A New
Generation, fails to procreate). :
