THE VSE is the subject of
Michael Caldwell’s new
book, The Wizards — Mil-
lionaire Magicians of the
Vancouver Stock Market.

Published by Creative Classics,
in West Vancouver, the book tells
the stories of some of the Jucky
men who've made it big in the ven-
ture-capital market of the Van-
couver Stock Exchange.

Among the many colorful key
Players covered, chapters are
dedicated to Murray Pezim, Peter
Brown and Egil Lorntzsen. Almost
without exception, the wheeler-
dealers chronicled started with
nothing at the beginning of the
ticker-tape road to healthy bank
accounts.

Caldwell met many of the men
who make up the book when he
worked as a VSE boardmarker.

The book is available at most
