The alderman was the only District council member to vote against the appointments to committees made at Monday’s inaugural meeting. Crist told Beli he had asked to be named to two committees, but was ap- pointed to neither. He also said he was upset that Bell didn't make available to council members a list of the available committees so they could choose which ones they wanted. Instead the mayor phoned _each member, asking for his or her preferences. And Mayor Bell himself will serve on the Deep Cove committee and as an alternate on some _ other committees. Stolen jeep recovered FOUR COUNTS of breaking and entering have been laid against a Vancouver man after police found him in a stolen jeep last week.
