WV cops search
for white Honda

WEST Vancouver Police are investigating a sus-
picious vehicle observed at Westcot elementary
school last Friday.

Awhite Honda Civic with tinted windows and stickers on
the trunk was spotted by a teacher at approximately 12:40
p.m. at the bottom of Westeot Read, next to the schoot play-
ing field.

The car's driver, a Caucasian male with a black T-shirt.
tattoos on his right arm, and dirty blonde hair in a pony-tail,

appeared to be ubservi ing children in the playground
through an opening in a chaia link fence.

A group of girls age 8 to ten were playing on the monkey
bars.

The man did not attempt to speak to the children, said
Sgt. Jim Almas — and no offence was committed — but
when the teacher walked towards the parked car, the driver
took off.

© Police would like to know who the driver was and what
he was doing in the area.
/ A partial licence plate was noted, with the letters DHM
identified. ;
