Cardell Corbet’s
artwork has

again been given
the royal nod.

Two years ago the
North Van artist creat-
ed an impressionistic
oil painting, Elizabeth
Holding a Ribbon,
that was accepted bv
the Queen Mum and
installed in her private
quarters at Clarence
House.
Just recently,
Corbet completed a
second royal portrait,
that of Prince Phillip,
the Duke of
Edinburgh.
The intimate por-
trait, executed in pas-
tel on canvas, will
hang in the main
building of the Royal
Society of Arts (RSA),
of which Prince Phillip
is the president.
