Sumrnarizing the recreational/entertainment components of Park Royal, Amantea says, “We've hada very posilive response from the community and we believe they arc indced a welcome addition to our Centre.” #& “Good food... fast!” That's the promise of Park Royal's new Food Court (South Mall-East End), opening next month. The Food Court will feature nine operators including A & W, Arby’s, Fortume Wok, - Edo Japan, New York Fries and Skyway. The design and atmosphere ofthe new Food Court will be unlike anything you've ever seen reflecting Park Royal's new overall “marine motif.” The -furniture finishes in the Food Court will include such elegant details as mahogany‘stained wood trim on the tables, 400 high-quality wooden Seats, moveable chairs and a children’s area. This special area will de- light young children who come with their parents to eat. We'll also nave specialty packs for Moms with infants that will include bibs and baby wipes. We'lleven have a microwave to warm baby formula and a parenting room. The Food Courtis BAS designed to be environ- mentally-friendly, with “38 a recycling program. New Skylights, entrances and exits will provide a refreshing, new look to this end ofthe South Mall. In addition to the new Food Court, there willbe anew D’Allairds store (relocated from the North Mail),anew Marks & Spencer anda soontobe renovated Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce. If you've visited Park Royal South in the past two months, you will have noticed extensive changes, particularly to the sec- ond level where The Fashion Gallery is evolving into its own unique area of the shopping cenire. “We are continuing to create very separate and distinct precincts within the shopping centre,” explains Park Royal Director Rick Amantea. “The Fashion Gallery is the latest precinct to unfold.” The Fashion Gallery will house some of the better recognized, midtoupper scale fashion retailers. The area will be very unique in terms ofarchitecture. “we'llhave very high quality, upscale finishes such as new skylights, an exciting new floor treatment, cafe tables, new lighting, and fresh, new looks tothe tenants’ storefronts,” reports Amantea. The new flooring tile is an exciting, contemporary blend of earth tones and will be complemented by new and more comfortable furnishings.
