fundraising dance for 50th

LENCE... A group of local com-
munity organizations is sponsoring
a forum — ‘Violence: A Com-
munity Health Issue’? — at the
Lions Gate Hospital auditorium
on Wednesday, Nov. 3, from 7 to
5 p.m. Admission is free to the
public. The following evening, the
Capilano Community Services
Society will be holding a free
forum entitled ‘The Roots of
Youth Violence.’’ The Thursday,
Oct. 4 lecture, presented by Dr.
Gordon Neufeld, will begin at
