But sometimes old Dad prefers something with a little less hair gel, something a little closer to the curbside of life, something a little more like Andreas. There is not much Californian about Andreas Arsoniadis’ restau- rant, but there is much Greek and much southern Mediterranean about it. Andreas is loose ind lively. Its personality, like that of its owner, is sunny and good-hearted. And its meru is proudly, though by no means exclusively, sturdy Meat and potatoes or meat and tice or meat and pasta. In one local guide, Andreas is listed simply under STEAK, It is a listing that will surely put a broad smile on Arsoniadis’ big mug each time he beholds it.
