A ‘WEST Vancouver . woman ‘is
seeking the return of an ancient
.deaf and blind cat. that.went miss-
ing from her Mathers Avenue
home last Friday afternoon. .

The cat, Griselde, is 147 cat
years (21 human years) old.

Said Griselde’s- owner Elisabeth
Labrick, ‘She just .went.. totally

> blind in the last week. ‘She lived a

very protected life here, and she
was always supervised when’ she
went outside. She went outside on
Friday, afternoon and accidentally
went off the front porch.”

The cat is described as being a
grey-brown. tabby with very even
markings, four ‘‘lovely’’
feet, a white nose, and a white bib
under chin.

Griselde. also has a very ‘loud

cry.
“She's very pretty,””

said; *

* Labrick. phoned the West’ ‘Van-

couver SPCA last Friday, but the

office was already .closed. A’ man.

subsequently phoned the SPCA to
