A LIMITED number of tickets are still available
for the Vancouver YWCA’s Women of Distinction
Awards Dinner taking place at the Hyati Regency
Hotel on Thursday, May 28 at 6:30 p.m.

Now in its fourth year, the awards dinner honors
seven women of distinction from the Lower
Mainland area for their significant and sustained
contribution in one of seven categories: Arts and
Culture; Communications and Public Affairs;
Community and Humanitarian Service; En-
trepreneur/Innovator; Health and Education;
Management and the Professions; Sports, Recre-
ation and Fitness.

LeRose as master of ceremonies. Vancouver
singer/composer Nancy Nash will perform original
material written for the evening, with the YWCA’s
Soromundi youth leadership group performing
under the direction of Heather Jones Barker from
Carousel Theatre.

Of the 800 tickets available, more than 75 per
cent have been allocated to the evening’s sponsors,
patrons, nominees and individual supporters of
this annual event.
