Boname, 53, said if elected Nov. 15 she will work towards enhanc- ing West Vancouver's unique character. Boname is married, has two sons and two daughters. Finlay seeks WV re-election WEST VANCOUVER Aid. David Finlay is seeking re-election to a fifth term on council. Finlay, 54, said the primary duty of council is to conserve the tax- payers’ dollars. If elected he said he would work to keep taxes as tow as possible in West Vancouver, without impairing municipal ser- vices. He said the area has given him insight into the problems af- fecting the future of West Van- couver. Finlay said he strongly believes that all local development must be based on preserving the beauty and character of West Vancouver, and on meeting the housing needs of its seniors. He sees the development of the Ambleside waterfront as a challenge for West Vancouver, adding he would like to see the park attract citizens to actively use and enjoy that area. He said a municipal or marine museum, an old-fashioned band shell, an arts and crafts centre and possibly a fishing pier should also be considered for Ambleside. Finlay has lived in West Van- couver with his wife Beverley for 19 years.
