THE NEW South extension
of the “Capilano Mobile
Home Park’’, beautifully
situated on the Capilano
River, officially opens today
and tomorrow.

The first phase - an attrac-
tive cul-de-sac called Tyee
Court - features five new
manufactured homes with
vinyl lap siding and duroid
shingle roofs. There is one
space left in this phase for a
unit that could be custom
ordered and ready for oc-
cupancy by the end of June.

Ltd. in Agassiz represent the
results of a fifteen year
evolution from the trailer/
mobile homes of the fate
1960's to the energy-efficient

1984-85. Standard equip-

This Capilano develop-
ment was conceived and is
being built by Watson
Homes Sales Ltd. owner Ken
Watson and his three sons.
The first step to building this
exclusive area was the addi-
tion of eight units to the
original park in 1983 in co-
operation with park manager
Frank Baker who leases the
area from the Squamish
Band.

A much admired little
community across from
Park Royal Shopping Cen-
tre, the area seemed ideal for
a showcase of the new
manufactured homes. Work
began in late summer of
1984 and will be finished in
late 1985 when the cul-de-sac
an the river is added.
