Girl on girl robbery
attempted in N Van

TWO teenage girls
stood up to would-be
teenage girl robbers on
April 18 on Lonsdale
Avenue near 15th
street.

According to the North
Vancouver RCMP, one of the
robbers demanded a wallet
trom a victim during the 3:30
p.m. incident on the east side
of Lonsdate Avenue.

When the victim refused,
she was pushed against a
bank wall. Police say the vic-
tim punched one of the

would-be robbers in the jaw.
The robbers ran away.

The suspects are described
as being approximately 14 to
15 vears of age and 1.7 m
(5°77) tall. One suspect was
described as being Caucasian
with waist-length curly black
hair and a medium build. She
was wearing blue jeans and a
bright yellow three-quarter-
length jacket. The other sus-
pect was described as possibly
being native, with long
straight light brown hair. She
was wearing a grey sweat-
shirt, blue jeans and runners.
