In fact, Mr. Lautens sets the tone

He says Lareo is nota goad
neighbor of West Vancouser and
describes Larca as “the perpetrator
of insensitive and tasteless acts.”

The statement about Larco nat
being a good neighbor is particular-
ty hurtful since we do cujoy # good
relationship with West Vancouver
and have gone out of our way to
consult regularly with council in
relation to our.ongoing renovations
and operations at Park Royal.

We have continued to wark with
the district's Advisory Design
Panel, municipal staff and the
Squamish Nation with respect to
Larco developments.

Mr. Lautens’ complaint about
the difficulty in finding a ground-
Jevel parking stall near the north
mall is somewhat misleading since
we provide 1.900 parking stalls on
three fevels on the north side.

Indeed it is the success of our
north side renovation program that
has created a great demand for
parking. and therefore Mr. Lautens
is condemning Park Royal and its
North Shore patrons for the very
success we ure al) aiming for.

On one hand he describes the
north mati as “a spaghetti of confu-
sion.” while on the other saying
how attractive the mall shops are
and that "it’s the only mall PE actual-
ly enjoy being in.”

With regard to the removal of

In response to Mary Prigbe's fet-
ter in the North Shore News Feb.
6. 1 would gladly allow the Price
houschold of two adults. four chil-
dren and a dog to put out more
garbage if ue same reasoning was
extended to my household of one
adult with regard to the payment of
utilities due on March 3, 1994,

The utilities cover water, sewer,
waste and reeycfing. | suggest that |
(one person, one household) pay
only 25% of my utility bill of $482.

L. for one, would be ghid of a
user-pay system. At the moment |
am subsidizing the Priebe family
and many more.
