Two youths face charges TWO YOUNG offenders face charges of possession of stolen property over $1,000 and dangerous driving after a car, stolen Sept. 20 in West Vancouver, was found crashed in a ditch the fol- lowing day at Cypress Bowl. Police were originally informed that a 1986 Honda Prelude had been stolen frox: the 1200-block of Keith Road. At about 1:35 p.rs. Sept. 21, police received several calls reporting a motor vehicle ac- cident at kilometre five of Cypress Bowl Road. Police attended and found that two civilians at the scene had lecated two male young offenders in the bush area at the scene of the accident. Police dog Trooper was brought to the scene and and did a con- firmation track that linked a 13-year-old Vancouver youth and a 14-year-old North Vanconver youth to the car. The car, which ended up in a ditch, sustained damages estimated at $13,000. Annual hospital meeting set THE ANNUAL general meeting of the North and West Vancouver Hospital Society will take place tonight in Lions Gate Hospital’s Terrace Cafetezis starting at 7:30 p.m. Featured spezker will be Herman Crewson, president of the B.C. Heaith Association. He is scheduled to speak on the problem of health care funding. There will be ne election to the Lions Gate Hospital board of directors at the meeting because all available positions were filled earlier this year by acclamation. But proposed society bylaw and constitution changes will be dealt with by the board. Lest year in B.C. alone, over 200 fire departments, in com- munities of all sizes, raised $370,000.
