The search is on for the trucker who will be named the 34th annual Firestone National Truck Hero. Nominations are sought for a Canadian professional truck driver who has performed an act of brav- ery or heroism. The person or organization that nominates the winner will receive a $200 cash reward. This award is endorsed by the Canada Safety Council, The Traf- fic Injury Research Foundation and sponsored by Firestone Canada Inc. ‘Usually truckers receive no recognition for their unselfish acts which frequently avert serious ac- cidents and save many lives.
