courtesy of the zesty Caparotta brothers
(Piero and Ezio) has been scheduled tor
Sunday, May 10, at their fine West
Vancouver restaurant. Featured will be
the wines of northern Italy, which will
be served with a four-course Barolo feast
that will include:

Bresaola della Valtellina (thinly sliced
beef garnished with bocconcini cheese
and extra virgin olive oil); Assagi di
Pasta (gnocchi gorgonzola, risotto con
fanghi, pappardelle ragu d’agnello);
Poilo Farcito (rolled chicken breast
stuffed with asiago prosciutto in a
Marsala wine sauce garnished with
raisins and pine nuts); and Bigne alla
Cioccolata. Fhe meal ($79 per person) is
set to kick off at 6 p.m.
