THE FOLLOWING is a selection of volunteer opportunities availatsle through North Shore Community Services (NSCS). A creative sewer is needed dur- ing the month of May by a North Shore agency to help make display banners. Materials will be provided. Volunteers are needed to take walks with seniors who have mobil- ily problems, The watks are short and the pace slow with plenty of opportunity to chat along the way. One-on-one visitors for patients in a dong-term care facility are needed. Volunteers should he patient, caring and reliable. The hours are flexible. SES ROBOT Committee members who enjoy art can volunteer to help with monthly art shows. The commitice meets inonthly and there fs some physical work involved in arrang- ing and hanging the art work, A filing coordinator is needed by a major health-related organiza- tion, The volunteer will deveiop and implement a centralized filing QU system fora resource collection.
