An in- tensified blitz of roadblocks until Jan, 3 is being staged on the North Shore and other areas of the Lower Mainland. While most people are aware of the conse- quences of drinking and driving, (here are still people who think that a couple of drinks won't hurt, and, besides that, they'll never get caught. But sooner or later they will get caught. And they will lose their licence, face a large fine and maybe even end up in jail. Or worse — they may injure or kill someone. Doesn't sound very festive, does it? Don’t be foolish — walk, take a taxi, catch a bus, or get a ride from a designated driver. Hosts ure encouraged to provide non-alcoholic drinks to guests.
