YMCA hosts
fundraiser

THE NORTH Shore Family YM-
CA will be hosting a gala evening
fundraiser combining a silent auc-
tion and men’s and women’s fash-
ion show to benefit YMCA
Community Youth Programs.

Over $12,000 in prizes will be
auctioned and raffled at the event
which will be held at the West
Vancouver YMCA on Friday,
Nov. 2 starting at 7:30 p.m. Tick-
ets are $10 in advance (must be 19
years or older) and may be pur-
chased by calling 926-5541.

Among the items that will be
available are Family Season's ski
passes at Grouse Mountain and
Cypress Bowl, deluxe hotel ac-
commodations, sports clothing
and equipment, and Nintendo.
Fashions will be supplied by The
Sporting Look, Swiss Sporthaus,
Nonesuch Boutique and Holiday
Funwear.
