ICBC’s Multi-Perspective Traffic
Safety Conference, Aug. 17 to 19,
at the University of British Col-
umbia‘s Graduate Student Centre.

The symposium will bring
together more than 20 nationally
and internationally renowned
scholars of diverse disciplines, such
as Philosophy, Political Science
and Medical Ethics.

“We have not been able convin-
cingly to curb the increasing car-
nage on British Columbia roads
and highways in’ recent years.
Fresh approaches and new solu-
tions are demanded,’’ ICBC presi-
dent Tom Holines reports.
