NEWS photo Mike Wakefield Lynn Valley Library holding massive summer book sale LYNN VALLEY Library is hosting a summer book sale this weekend and readers of all ages are invited to take advantage of the wide selection and good prices. North Vancouver District Library recently automated its cir- culation system by identifying and bar coding every item in the system. These books and other library materials will be offered for sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Satur- day, July 6. “The prices will range from cheap to ridiculous’’, say orga- nizers. Adult hardcover non-fic- tion will sell for $1, fiction and ail children’s hardcovers will cost .50 cents, and paperbacks ard caga- zines will be marked at two for -25 cents. Audiovisual materials will also be available. There will be an area where kids can browse on their own, but children’s books are expected to sell quickly. People who arrive early will en- joy the best selection, but late- comers can take advantage of price specials at the end of the day, say organizers.
