from hors d’oeuvres, flavored vinegars, cheese crock,

ASSISTANT needed for a youth
detention centre. If you have skills
in gymnastics, sports or board
games and enjoy working with
teenagers this position will interest
you. Hours are Tuesday evening
from 7 to 9 p.m. Orientation is
provided. Vancouver base.

NEW YEAR'S EVE, Participate in
Vancouver’s first annual First
Night celebration of the arts. Vol-
unteers are needed for.this exciting
New Year’s Festival which includes
continuous indoor/outdoor — per-
formances and music. People are
needed for organizing on-site
events, and as communication and
refreshment vendors. The grand
finale is a gathering at 11:30 p.m.
outside the Vancouver Art Gallery.
