Winter Sand Castles.

Can you imagine making sand castles inside .

. your home during the winter? They won't wash -
away, these are casties you can keep forever.

Ingredients: 2 cups sand, 1 cup com starch, °
3/4 cup water, 1 T alum, old pot, stove and
wooden spoon, white glue (er vamish). a,
ingredients: in the pot mix sand, com starch,
alum, and cold water. Heat until as thick as play
dough, stirring ‘constantly with wooden spoon
Remove from heat and cool. Create sand castles
or other shapes. Dry at room temperature for:
several days, Buff loose sand and seal with white

glue or varnish.

Next summer when you Visita special
beach, scoop up 2 cups of sand, and’
- make 2 souvenir sand castle. «
