that our elected council has
never given the family viable
alternatives except to remove
the old girl from our shores.
The time is upon us now as a
community to protect our
young history, for if we fail
today, tomorrow we will
never have old history.

Lonsdale area two very old
ships come into view, one is

Royal cinema.

I miss the spur of the
moment dash to a movie at
our local movie house.

I miss the cheap Tuesdays
luring us out for a good
movie and popcorn, cheap.

I miss the easy parking,
the dark night when we came
out, the proximity for us.

I miss the beat- -up interior

but has never been a part of
our North Shore heritage. As
I understand it was never

day. This brings me back to
the other ship, the Seven
Seas, which has been a part of
my life and the community
since 1941 where it was our
first sea bus. So Task why do

I miss the manager, a gal-
lant fellow in a fading cine-
ma.

cinema.

If there is any chance to
refurbish a little, reopen as is,
