THE NORTH Vancouver
RCMP are searching for an
armed robber who tied and
gagged a Canadian. Tire
employee on Monday in. the
1300-block of Marine Drive.
The assistant manager of the
store, age 21, was locking up when
he was confronted by a man hold-

The suspect, dressed in black,
pointed the gun at the employee's
face, struck him in the head and
knocked him to the ground. The
victim was blindfolded, gagged
and tied up with duct tape, said
police. He was able to work him-
self free after remaining “for some
time” in a storage room.

The employee was treated -at:
Lions Gate Hospital for facial
injuries and shock. He was later -,

The robber made off with an
