Suspects sought THREE NORTH Van- couver sporting goods store employees were handcuffed and robbed at gunpoint on Thursday, May 13. The North Vancouver RCMP are requesting in- formation concerning an armed robbery at Sports Experts, 1324 Marine Dr. Three male suspects entered the store approxi- mately 15 minutes before closing time at 9 p.m. Three employees were handcuffed and had their eyes covered with duct tape, according to North Vancouver RCMP Const. Marty Blais. The manager was forced to open the store’s safe. The thieves obtained a quantity of cash and gift certificates, Police describe the weapon: used in the rob- bery as a small, short- barrel revolver. The: suspects fied in a stolen’ blue 1983 Tercel that was later recovered. The suspects are be- tween 18 and 20 years of age.
