More than two dozen Van- couver designers also unveiled pieces of their collections in the show, and, as in many pres- entations by up-and-coming de- * signers, the most talented were easily recognized in the crowd. Scoring first place for her sumptuous mohair knitted sweaters was Ana Klaveness for the label Emma _ Klaveness Designs. She showed a remarkable collection of pullovers with bright- ly colored, intricate patterns which innovatively mix native Indian with East Indian influences.
