Local executive honored

NORTH SHORE resident Bill
Easton, executive vice-president of
the Society of Management: Ac-
countants of B.C. (SMABC) has
been presented with a 28-year ser-
Vice award.

quarter century,” said SMABC
past president John Huguet.

“His leadership has been in-
strumental in raising the prestige
and professionatism of the CMA
designation and in the founding of
our Asia Pacific office.’ added
Huguet.

naming of an annual scholarship
to be awarded in Easton's honer
to the Simon Fraser University
