By IMOLHY RK News Report Incumbent MP Mary Collins, who took the old Capilano riding in 1984 with 36 per cent of the vote, breezed back to her second term with 20,219 votes or 47 per cent of the Capilano-Howe Sound total. Voter turnout in the riding was 82 per cent. Liberal John Pozer finished se- cond with 12,828 votes or 29 per cent. In the 1984 federal election, Liberal candidate David Brousson also finished second to Collins after capturing 27 per cent of the riding’s vote. Collins said Tuesday she was pleased with her re-election and the return of a Tory majority across Canada, but disappoinied with her party's losses in B.C. “I think people supported the » .
