84 - Friday, June 12, 1987 - North Shore News Government and to reward excellence in housing THE CANADIAN Home Builders: Association of British Columbia (CHBA- BC) and the Ministry of Social Services and Housing have formed an Awards Committee to select the best examples of residential con- struction in the province. The $1,090 awards in ten separate categories cover all facets of the housing in- dustry, including single fam- ily homes over and under $60,000 built in metropolitan areas, i.e. Vancouver and Victoria, as well as those houses built outside the large centres. Also the best multi-family project (including townhomes and apartments} both over and under twen- ty-four units will be recognized, as will creative land development, residen- tial subdivisions and renova- tions between $10,000 and $80,000.
