The North Shore Association tor
the Mentally Handicapped has
recently completed the annual
door-to-door fund-raising cant
Paign.

I would tthe to whole-heartedly
express our appreciation fa the
many volunteers, from Deep Cove
to Lions Buy, who were cansassers
and zone captains.

In spite of the many challenges
presented this year, this was a very
successful campaign, and we send
our sincere thanks to ab those who
contributed,

The money caised will be used
here on the North Shore to provide
the support needed to encourage
and assist mentally handicapped

individuals in becoming useful and
independent’ members Of our
community.

We are also grateful to the many
local merchants who displayed our
poster, and to the North Shore
News, which told our story in the
May 28 issue.

I invite those whom the can-
vassers missed to send donations
