And as a result, the high demand for tickets for the estimated $10.8 jackpot have forced several Lotto 6/49 vendors to put up with machines overloaded with ticket requests. Woodwards, Park Royal, was the site of one long lineup when the North Shore News went in search of potential millionaires Wed- nesday. Genevieve said she only buys Lotto 6/49 tickets “when there’s a big jackpot.’’ She said this week’s ticket was being fi- nanced by the $10 she won in another draw last week, but admitted she thought her chances of winning the jackpot were slim.
