Tennis
tournament

NORTH Vancouver Public
Parks Tennis Champion-
ships, running July 14 to 22,
will be held in North Van.

Last year over 700 people
played in the tournament,
which features 8 junior
events, A, B and C singles
and doubles, Masters singles
and doubles (over 35, 45 and
55 categories), a parent and
thild doubles, and an X
Singles event for players who
have never played in a tour-
nament before.

Entries are available at all
local tennis clubs, at the
North Van Recreation Cen-
tre, and at the Recreation
Commission offices at
Delbrook. Deadline for
entering the tourney is noon
tomorrow Monday, July 9.
