THE SECOND annual Deep
Cove Festival kicks-off
today, with fun and enter-
tainment for all.

Starting at 11 a.m., local
artists and craftspeople will
set up their wares for public
display, and local restau-
rants will be cooking up

ethnic delights for hungry
passers-by.

And, for the  sports-
minded, there will be several
competitions that everyone
is welcome to enter. The
events include off-road
biking, a wheelie contest,
canoe races, volleyball play-
