vaccine, now rolling off the
assembly line, will save
5,000 lives a year, its
developer says.

The drug company
making the 95 per cent
effective vaccine has
shipped 300,000 doses to
doctors and will keep the
supply moving as govern-
ment inspectors approve
each new batch produced in
West Point, Pa.
