On Dec. 10, while shop- pin in the Capilano mall I ad the misfortune of losing my wallet, never thinking I would ever see it again, I came home and cancelled all my credit cards. I still had things in the wallet that I needed, not to mention money. Imagine my surprise on Saturday morning, Dec. 12, to get a phone call to say my wallet had been handed in. ! was relieved for many reasons, not only the money but other tickets I had inside the wallet. An employee of the B.C. liquor branch had handed it in absolutely intact — money and everything. I offered him a cash reward but he declined m., Dec. 20th Sr oe a rr ee —=MAIL Honesty alive and well in mall Wg asking me to make a denation to charitv. So why the rejec- tion of the waterfront propos- al? T can’t help but think that the proposal was rejected for two reasons: 1. Low voter turn out; and 2.
