Environment a major priority

CONCERN FOR the environment
is now a priority concern for an
overwhelming majority of North
Shore residents, according to a
North Shore News survey.

The recent telephone poll of
close to 400 North Shore residents
from Horseshoe Bay to Deep Cove
showed that 91.6 per cent of the
survey's respondents said the en-
vironment should be a major pri-
ority for all levels of government.
