Walk an SPCA dog

AT THE North Vancouver SPCA, many dogs sit in
their kennels eagerly anticipating Tuesday, Thursday
and Saturday.

These are the three days a.group of volunteers takes
them for a walk. Both the dogs and the people enjoy
the exercise.

The volunteers meet on Tuesday, Thursday or
Saturday mornings from 10 a.m. to noon, and walk in
a group along Lynn Creek in quiet areas where there
is no traffic.

The SPCA is seeking more volunteers to provide the

dogs with a chance to get outside. If you are 16 or
over, are reasonably fit, like walking, love dogs and
would like to meet new people and make new friends,
the SPCA feels this is for you.

The dogs are well cared for at the North Vancouver
SPCA but most are large and have lots of energy, so a
walk, even just three times a week, is very exciting and
also very necessary for them.

Mansfield Place.
