company is out to make
green thumbs greener with a
new horticultural product.

Naturgro, developed and pro-
duced locally by Natural Polymer
Corp., contains potting mix and
two fertilizers.

The production plant, located at
320 East Esplanade since August
of this year, is operated by handi-
capped local people. ‘The whole
plant is basically their operation,”
said sales representative Sue Fen-
wick.

The new product includes trace
minerals as well as zeolite, an
ionizing agent mined by the com-
pany in Nevada which speeds the
transfer of nutrients to plants.

The product is available locally
at Beaver Lumber, Safeway and
garden centres and Morist shops.

The idea for the book grew out
of annual carol parties hosted by
Yeomans every year. Every year

Yeomans was frustrated by the in-_

adequacy of standard carol sheets.

“They have such a limited selec-
tion of carols, and often only a
verse or two of each,’’ said
Yeomans. ‘‘And they don’t con-
tain any of the modern copy-
righted songs that people love sing-
ing.”

Annual TV Auction on BCTV with
a call for local companies to par-
ticipate in a fund-raising effort for

Deaf by donating goods for the

$4 million to $5 million to assist in
the construction of a new facility
