Volunteers needed VOLUNTEERS ARE needed by the Vancouver-Burnaby branch of the Canadian Mental Health Association to work on a one-to- one basis with adults who have had treatment for a mental illness. Those volunteering meet with the clients two to five hours a week and assist them in developing everyday life skills through social, recreational, or educational activi- ties. A preliminary training course is provided. Volunteers are also needed to work in the association’s three thrift stores. For information, call the volun- teer coordinator at 734-2344.
