He has reduced his sharing of toys with other children and often ‘Pushes them away, which he ing W never used to do. After he has “been bad”, he usually comes to me and gives me a kiss, bur Lam not sure [ should accept this kiss. Will this teach him that he can get away with hit- ting and pushing by giving someone a kiss later? Answer: Because he is 27 menths old, I think itis a phase and I do not think you should be more severe, he may be going through a common dif ficulty of not being able to express himself well and experi- encing frustrations that he does sot understand. The fact that he gives you a kiss indicates that he does want to repair any possible damage he may have done to you (for his behaviour as well as his feel- ings). It is very important that you accept his kisses and hugs and that you hug him back unconditionally. When he is hitting or push- ing another child, try to gently remove him from the situation and keep him close by you (by just sitting down) until he feels Beanz meanz check the pro - HEINZ Canada ‘announced on Nov. 22 * that a voluntary recall - was under way of one > variety of its bean prod- ucts: Heinz 14-02 The ‘recalled beans have ‘a- bright green label and an eight"... : digit code located at a can end that starts with: 2420..° Heinz Canada says th role. y recall was taken ‘after analy revealed that some cans “may not have been processed in a manner.to prevent the pres- / ence. of.
