Raffle benefits kids’ art programs

ORGANIZERS of Arts
Unmbrella’s annual raf-
fle are driving a great
bargain.

Grand prize for this vear’s
draw is a 1997 Saab 9O0SE,
valued at $30,770.

Other prime prizes are a
men’s Rolex watch trom
Swedish Jewelers and nwo
$3,000 gift packages from
Holt Renfrew — one for
menswear, the other for
ladies’.

Arts Umbrella, located on
Granville Island, is Canada’s
visual and performing arts
institute for young people,
ages two to 18. The organiza-
tion hopes to raise $150,000
through the raffle.

Tickets are $20 each, or
$100 for a book of four.

Vancouver Art Gallery, Sept. 5
to 7; at Pacific Centre, Sept.

The draw for prizes will be
made az the Holt Renfrew gala
fashion show on Thursday,
Sept. 25. The evening gala, as
well as a luncheon show, takes
place in the ballroom at the
