“the area, thanks to un $8,500
grant from the Ministry of
Small Business, Tourism and
Culture.

. The grant was announced
recently by Smal! Business
Minister Bill Barlee and North
Vancouver-Lonsdale MLA David
Schreck. The funding goes to the
local business information centre,
located in the North Vancouver.

“Smalt business people and
entrepreneurs face dozens of deci-
sions daily and must continuously
consider long-lerm planning
issues,” Bariee said. “Business
information centres provide valu-
ablé information to assist people
in making businesses prosper.”

The North Vancouver
Business Information Centre
(BIC) offers business advisory
services to existing and potential
small business operators. A
province-wide Chamberlink elec-
tronic information network and
business publications are also
available,
