WV worker hit

A 34-YEAR-OLD West Vancouver municipal employee
rempins ina coma after he was struck by a car Thursday
near Sinclair Street and Inglewood Avenue.

The man's name was not released by the West
Vancouver Police. He is believed to be a Vancouver resi-
dent. According to a West Vancouver Police spokesman,

the man was struck while surveying the intersection at
approximately 1! a.m. He was taken to Lions Gate
Hospital with head injuries and later transferred to

’ Vancouver Huspital, where he was listed in critical con-
dition to press time on Tuesday.

The man was struck by a car being driven by a West
Vancouver woman. The investigation into the accident is

continuing. .

after an armed robbery on/March 26 at North Shore
Video Zone, 3051 Lonsdale Ave.

A male, described as 15 to 20 years old, walked up te

to a North Vancouver RCIAP spokesman.

The robber fled:the store with an undetermined
ameunt of. cash. Police believe he took off in-«, nearby
vehicle. The robber is described as being 5°7”" (1.68 m),

: 150 Ibs. (68 kg), with short blond hair... ;

He was wearing o red baseball cap, a redi-anid-white
bandanna over his face; a red lumberjack-style shirt and

motion at its March 28 meet-
ing to discuss changing the
days that District 45 holds its
regular public meetings.
