REZONING BYLAW .

The Council for The Corporation of the District of North Vancouver will hold a Public
Hearing under the provisions of the Municipal Act in the Council Chamber of the--~
Municipal Hall, 355 West Queens Road, North Vancouver, B.C. on Monday, June
15, 1987 commencing at 7:00 p.m. to consider the following:

BYLAW 5957: ‘‘Rezoning Bylaw 783"

to revise definitions of ‘‘dwelling unit"’ and ‘residential building and

to amend subclause (2){a) of section 501, section 1001 and sec-

tion 1004 with respect to uses in single-family residential buildings,
parking requirements and penalties for contravening the bylaw.

Purposes:

residential building;
to define and set conditions for family residential units;
to limit to one, the number of cooking facilities in one dwelling unit;

to limit the provision for boarders and lodgers in single-family
residential buildings to those occupied by one person, or two or
more persons who are interrelated by bonds of consanguinity, mar-
riage, legal adoption, or who have a commom {aw relationship;

to require two (2) off-street parking spaces fora single-family
residential building containing a family residential unit;

to raise the maximum penalty for contravention to $2,000;

to define and modify a number of the definitions of terms within
the Zoning Bylaw.
